Top 10 travel tips

We have already talked about budget ways of keeping your kiddies amused whilst on holiday but what about when you are travelling. Travelling can be stressful for the best of us so every little helps to make our journeys as smooth as possible. Here are our top 10 travel tips that we think will help make traveling easier and as much FUN as possible:

1. Having as many of your childs favourite toys is important to keep them entertained. Try taking their favourite Trunki filled with fun toys and games. The trunki has lots of room for storing all their best toys and they will feel all grown up with their own little suitcase to take care off. For Mum and Dad this handy little suitcase can act as a seat for your little ones tired little legs and they can ride on it so there’s no need to worry about missing check in.

2. If you are traveling by car with a child that needs a booster seat the boostApak is fantastic. It doubles as a backpack and a booster seat, so again you can carry those all-important boredom busting toys and games.

3. Family games can be a brilliant way of passing the time not only for the little ones but for the grown-ups too. Try taking some family mini games with you to pass the time and have fun.

4. Mums we know how difficult it can be to keep fresh while you travel. Wipes can be so handy for a quick freshen up and the Jackson Reece wipes are organic so won't hurt your skin.

5. The amount of things you need to bring only increases with a child so why not try using an ergo baby carrier instead of a pram. This will save you space and they are so simple to use that you may find yourself ditching the pram when you get back.

6. To conserve your breastfeeding modesty Bubi Bainne is the perfect breastfeeding shawl for discreet nursing.

7. Keeping with our breastfeeding Mums why not try the Lansinoh Manual breast pump. It is light and easy to use. Expressing milk means that the other half can take over feeding duty when you need a little me time.

8. When you travel you may not be guaranteed that you will have a highchair provided at all the pit stops. The Chair harness Gro-ing Places is a great substitute. It folds away into its own small bag and easily adjusts for use on most dining chairs when a highchair is not available.

9. Creating a good sleeping environment can be tricky when it is too sunny outside and your child still wants to play. The Gro Anywhere Blind is the perfect solution. It is a portable blackout blind that attaches directly to the glass to block the light out completely. So no more worries about bedtime.

10. And our final tip is for those little adventurers that are not quite ready to stray too far from your side. The sure-steps Security Harness and Wrist strap allows your toddler freedom to explore while still remaining close to you. Perfect when you have to spend a lot of time in an airport or train station.

We hope this helps make your travel plans as simple as possible and we would really like to hear any other suggestions that you may have.
