Kerrie's Pregnancy Diary Week By Week (6) - Week 26
What a Week!
The past week or so has been a real roller-coaster for me - lots of things have been going on but I've decided that from here on in things can only get better. Here's hoping!!
On Thursday I had my scan and I'm pleased to say that everything is fine. The doctor told me that my baby is breech but I know from previous experience that at this stage I have nothing to worry about. My eldest C was breech right up until two weeks before he was born and I've read online that 20% of babies are breech at this stage of the pregnancy.

Only 4 days until Christmas
This year I'm full of Christmas cheer and I can't wait for December 25th! My youngest boy T is counting the seconds, especially since I made him a personalised video on PNP (Portable North Pole). He was amazed at how much Santa knew about him even down to the colour of his eyes and his age. It kept him entertained for ages and he couldn't wait to brag about it to his friends!
Even though there's only four days to go I'm still no closer to being organised! Luckily I've got everything sorted for my boys but I haven't got a thing for anyone else - well it wouldn't be Christmas without chaos would it? I'll head for the shops on Christmas eve (after my hair appointment of course) to get some last minute stocking fillers and that will have to do!
Really looking forward to the New Year Sales! I've already stacked up on sale items - the prices are so low I can't resist! I got a gorgeous Stay Put blanket for a fraction of the cost and I've ordered loads of bumGenius Organic One Size. They're on special offer for Buy 2 Get 1 Free so I saved myself loads!
Party Party Party
Last weekend was our staff party! On Friday we all went out for lunch to the Carrickdale Hotel which was gorgeous! When we got back we all exchanged our Secret Santa gifts and had a ball laughing at all the funny presents. I got gorgeous toiletries and spent Friday evening in the bath relaxing - just what I needed after a stressful week.
After Secret Santa Maebh gathered us all in our board room for the Annual Baba Me Awards! Maebh put on a brilliant ceremony and had us all in stitches laughing! Some of the awards were priceless, and each winner received a bottle of yummy champagne (I've stashed mine away for when Baby is born). I won Best Shop Worker - well deserved I think :-)

Saturday night was our official staff party. Of course getting ready was a dilemma as usual! This time the electricity in my house went off and I couldn't finish my hair, tan or make up! I nipped over to my mums and thanks to a few helping hands I was the belle of the ball in a sparkly green dress. It was a brilliant night - we were all up dancing having a blast and surprisingly everyone was well behaved... even Collette!
Seasons Greetings
I'd like to take this time to say Happy Christmas to you all! I hope Santa is good to you and may you stay safe over the holidays. I'm spending my time off at home with my family - I've pulled the short straw again and have to cook a feast! I don't mind though, I love having the house buzzing on Christmas day - fingers crossed for a white one!
Love, Kerrie and Baby x
