Kerrie's Pregnancy Diary Week By Week (4) - Week 21
Belly Ball Games
At 21 weeks my Baby is now the length of a banana but boy can it kick! You'd swear Baby was playing football in my belly - I really do think I have the next Co.Armagh Captin in here! It's all getting very exciting now - I've just read online that my little one has developed fingerprints and his/her internal systems are growing rapidly!
Hospital... AGAIN!
On Thursday I took my youngest boy T to the doctor for his Swine Flu jab and I was a little bit worried because I had read all the horror stories about the sickly side effects. Things seemed to be going fine and T was battling on through the day until about 8pm or so when the projectile vomit kick started... and when I say projectile - I really do mean it! The poor boy couldn't keep anything down and all I can say is thankfully D was there because I can't stand anyone vomiting around me! Each time he was being sick I really had to try to stop myself from throwing up! We ended up in the hospital at 12am and sat there until 4.30am until the doctor finally got around to seeing him - of course they said it had nothing to do with the injection - I'm still not convinced! The poor boy was still as bad on Friday but that didn't stop him wakening at 8.30am leaving me with around 3 hours sleep!
Saturday Night Fever
Saturday was D's birthday so we went out for a lovely meal then we had a party afterwards. We all really enjoyed ourselves especially the birthday boy who stayed up partying most of the night. I was looking lovely in my new dress and I thought I'd push the boat out and put on a pair of my highest heels - great idea but OMG did I pay for it the next day! I was in agony - and just when my bad knee was feeling better too!
Sunday was my chill-out day - I spent the morning in bed watching funnies with my boys C & T - it was great to finally get some rest!
Simon Cops Out
So I ended up watching the XFactor last weekend and I really couldn't believe my ears and eyes when Simon Cowell coped out of voting Jedward off the show! After all the abuse he's been giving them over the past few weeks he now decides to over-ride his opinion and hide under the wrath of the public vote! Jedward proved to be more popular than Lucie and against all odds they are still in the competition! Wonders will never cease!
Stay tuned
Join me next week to find out what I've been up to. Any minute now I'll have to start picking presents for the boys for Christmas so I might even pick my top toys!
