it has to be pass the parcel. A party classic for any age! Have a prize of something you stock which would depend on what age are playing! Also in each layer of paper have a forfeit or dare!

Musical chairs is always good for little ones from Emma bates
A homemade Pinata is a great one for kiddies (& adults) They are easy to make, can be made ages in advance, are cheap but most of all are great fun! Bulk buy some cheap sweets/toys and kids will love it!

Oh you could take a bundle of different nappies, take the inserts out and throw/mix them all up in a pile and then each person is timed to see how many they can put together and do up on the nb/smallest setting. And the fastest time wins!!

And then of course maybe give all the nappies you used away ;) xx

You'll have to have some kind of cloth nappy related game!

You could take some different coloured or printed BG v4s, remove the inserts and put some small objects in the pocket, then fasten the nappies up. Then you pass around the nappies and everyone has to guess the item that's in the nappy by touch only.

You could use some small items from your shop such as the seahorse bath squirter, Haba banana, Rainbow maracas etc. That way at least people can get a clue from exploring the shop.

Guess the Mess - Melt different chocolates like a peice of twix, a malteser etc in different nappies and people have to 'Guess the Mess'. Use a liner but the nappies will wash OK after !!!!!!!!!!!

Make little nappy stickers/cards and hide them around the store, each of them should have a number and location (ie. No.10 shoe area) and people need to log the number and where it was found. First to complete wins!

Use some small plastic eggs and put little gold coins in and hide them for a treasure hunt. If you have a pirate or csi theme you can also do a visual treasure hunt adding to the fun. Take some photos of some areas (to make it harder you can blur the photos or just use partial areas) and get the children to follow the clues at each area they have a small challenge or reward. For example the hedgehog.. make a mould of the body and but lollies in at the bottom colour some of the stick and have different rewards before moving on. You could also have a big painted baba that the children need to through the ball through the large mouth and pin the teddy to the baby as another !! fantastic games that can be made easy or difficult x Amanda Felton
