The New-born nappy uses a cotton inner sown into the nappy and is designed to be as absorbent as a new-born will need and the elastic around the gussets are excellent at containing all the mess and new-born pooplosions.
To fit the nappy simply place your baby on the nappy and carefully close the hook and loop closures over your babies belly being careful not to pull it up over the naval area as these nappies are specifically designed to fit just below the umbilical cord.Please watch this video for a step-by-step guide on how to fit a new-born nappy.
Care Instructions for BumGenius Newborn
- · Shake solids into the toilet and store in a dry pail
- · Fasten tabs to laundry tabs on the inside of the nappy
- · Prewash cold to clean away any sluice
- · Wash between 30-60 degrees with a ¼ cup of additive free detergent
- · Rinse to get rid of any residue from the detergent
- · Line dry or Tumble dry at a medium heat
- · Never use bleach or fabric softeners
