The NEC Birmingham Baby Show 2011
The NEC Birmingham Baby Show over the past weekend was a great success! All of the Baba Me team had a great time showing off our amazing nappies. We introduced a lot of new parents to real nappies which was a great feeling, others were able to update their stash and we managed to convert a few people who were a bit sceptical about cloth nappies.
The main question that we heard was "What about washing and drying the nappies I really don't want a lot of hassle" but once we explained how to wash and that luckily our nappies are dry in an hour on the line people's mind was put at ease.
The CAN (change-a-nappy) Challenge proved to be extremely popular! with people able to change 5 real nappies in as little as 28 seconds! This was so much fun for everybody involved and people just loved the competition of it. The Baba Me team were no exception as they all tried to beat their best speed. The winners of this challenge will be announced as soon as we get all the forms sorted and have recorded everybodies times. The over all winner of the entire weekend will win a £200 voucher for Baba Me, The fastest time of each day will win 5 free nappies with 2nd and third place winning the very popular Berts Bees Baby Bee getting started kit as well as other prizes for fastest DAD and fastest Granny.
