All About bumGenius Reusable Nappies

What a fantastic decade 2000-2009 was - it not only saw the establishment and steady growth of Baba Me but the introduction of bumGenius reusable nappies to the UK, Ireland and throughout Europe.
10 years ago reusable nappies (especially in the UK) were predominantly associated with hippies and die-hard eco-friendly enthusiasts, today thankfully it's a totally different story.
Long gone are the terrifying tales of boiling, soaking, pinning and folding! Reusable nappies are now not only gorgeous, easy to use and ultra-absorbent but they remain the environmentally friendly and affordable option for any parent.

The family favourite bumGenius One-Size V3 nappy continues to be a roaring success with parents loving its simplicity and ease of use (no excuse for dads!) As it's a complete birth to potty nappy you never need to worry about buying different sizes because this nappy fits all - music to your ears if you've got more than one baby. What's even better is the Stay-Dry layer which wicks moisture away from your baby's bum and keeps it contained within the insert. We not only love the Stay-Dry layer because it helps keeps nappy rash away and is more comfortable for babies, but it is also incredibly soft. Made from luxurious light micro-fleece and supported on the reverse side with a special barrier to prevent moisture coming back through, the bumGenius One Size nappy is comfortable, easy to fit and REALLY quick drying.
Because the Stay-Dry insert is removable, the bumGenius One Size is known as a pocket nappy. The benefits of the bumGenius One Size 'pocket' nappy is the unrivalled drying time and the ability to customise. Once the removable insert is removed the nappy can be air dried in approximately 20 mins and the Stay-Dry inserts can be fully tumble dried - over & over again! You are also able to customise the level of absorbancy you require by inserting either the new born insert or diaper doubler insert (both included and both Stay-Dry inserts) into the pocket. As your baby grows you may wish to use both inserts or a combination to meet you baby's requirements.

For those who love the idea of the bumGenius One Size but prefer natural fibers against their baby's bum we recommend the bumGenius Organic One Size. This organic version is made to the same high spec and remains a birth to potty nappy however it's an All In One.
As an All In One you won't ever have to stuff - integrated into the nappy is six layers of luxurious 100% Organic cotton which is not only ultra soft but super absorbent. Our customers cannot believe how effective the organic cotton on the bumGenius nappies are, with many customers advocating that they are the only solution for night-time. Of course being organic they are slighly more expensive but because they are One-Size they will last the duration of your baby's nappying needs.
The bumGenius All In One is for those who want the ease of use associated with disposables. As an All In One you won't ever have to stuff. The nappy is Stay-Dry, just like the bumGenius One Size, however the absorbant Stay-Dry insert is sewn into the nappy and is not removable. This obviously increases the drying time however it means no stuffing and it makes it as easy to use as a disposable.
