Maebh Collins of Baba Me has been awarded Newry and Mourne business Champion 2011

Mrs Baba Me has been awarded the accolade of Newry and Mourne business champion of the year 2011 at the recent business awards ceremony in Craigavon. The competition was fierce throughout Newry and Mourne for the award but the decision was a unanimous one. This is a huge honour for Maebh who has put a lot of time, effort and patience into growing a very successful business that centres on her own parental beliefs.

Maebh said “I was not expecting to win as there was such strong competition but to hear that it was a unanimous decision has made the award all the more heartwarming.” The award has highlighted the hard work of Maebh and her dedication to the growth of Baba Me, which she hopes will generate more jobs in the near future.

In the past few years Maebh has grown Baba Me from a part-time hobby to a business that employs 18 people distributing natural parenting preoducts. The ethos of Baba Me is extremely strong and has encouraged a brand that is defined by values and a community of like-minded people. Although Baba Me is hugely successful Maebh has never lost her vision of a workplace that works with a family lifestyle, offering flexible working hours which encourage mums that are extremely talented at what they do to continue to work.

Maebh is a fantastic business woman with her eye fixed firmly on the success of a business that has the potential to grow into a global organisation.

We are all very proud of her and the award could not have went to a more worthy winner... in our humble opinion :)
